Initial Interaction Testing

This video shows the initial testing done with the reacTIVision framework. This software recognizes specific shapes called "fiducials" and allows you to track X, Y, and Rotation information. The X and Y coordinates in this particular test are off, but it showed me where the dead spots on the table were, allowing me to tweak it and get better overall recognition.

Final Product - "Pat"

This is the final result. Pat, an interactive multitouch table that allows interaction with the character Pat, through a variety of given objects. If you place a boombox over his head, he'll start singing along to the music. If you place food in front of him, he'll start eating. Pictured above is the display that was setup at MAM After Dark in 2012.
